Recipe – Upma
Ingredients and procedure…
Add Rava/Sooji / Semolina -90 gm. Roast for 1 minute.
In a pot add Ghee -2 Tbsp.
Add cooking oil -2 Tbsp.
Add sliced Onion -1 (small size). Saute on medium heat.
Add green Chillies – 4 (cut into pieces).
Add cumin seeds -1/2 tsp.
Add some Coriander leaves and Curry leaves.
Add Peanuts – 3 Tbsp.
Add Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp.
Stir and saute for 15 seconds.
Pour Water -480 ml. Add salt -1 tsp.
Bring the water to a boil, then slowly add the Semolina / Rava, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
Put a lid and cook for 1 minute on low flame.
Upma is ready to eat. Serve with coconut chutney.
