Poha Recipe :-

INGREDIENTS (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)
1.cups poha, thick variety (flattened or parched rice)
½ tsp turmeric powder
3 or 5 green chilies/hari mirch, chopped
2 tbsp peanuts/mungfali
2 medium onion/pyaaz, finely chopped
2 medium Tomato
1 Capsicum
1 lemon
¾th tsp mustard seeds/rai
½ Red chill powder
8 to 9 curry leaves/kadi patta
2 to 2.5 tbsp Mustard oil

1. Pick the poha first. rinse the poha in clean running water in a strainer.
2. Make sure that you do not rinse it too much or else it breaks and gets mushy. while rinsing, the poha absorbs enough water and it becomes soft.
3. In a Pan (kadai), heat oil.
4. Roast the peanuts in a small pan till they become crunchy and keep aside
5. In the same kadai, add the mustard seeds to the hot oil. when they splutter now add the curry leaves, green chili add the onions, capsicum, tomato and saute .
6. Sprinkle the turmeric powder, Red Chill Powder and salt in the poha.
7. Gently mix.
8. Add the poha. mix gently with the rest of the mixture.
saute the entire poha mixture for 2-3 minutes on a low flame, stirring gently in between.
9. Add lemon juice
10. Add peanuts
