5 SIMPLE & QUICK BREAKFAST RECIPES | Chia seed breakfasts



It can be so hard preparing healthy breakfasts in the morning. These recipes have been my go-to for quick, easy and SUPER healthy breakfasts. I have been less hungry during the day, and felt less like snacking. I’ve said goodbye to 3kgs (6.5lbs)!!!! Give them a go and let me know what you think xx

CHIA SEED MIX:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup milk

1. APPLE PIE
To the chia seed mix add:
1/3 cup grated apple
1 – 2 tsps ground cinnamon (you could also add cloves and nutmeg)
2 tbsp sultanas
1 tbsp raw cacoa nibx

2. BANOFFIE PIE
To the chia seed mix add:
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped pitted dates
1/2 banana sliced
1 tbsp raw cacoa powder
1 tbsp chopped cashews
Drizzle with maple syrup

3. PINA COLADA (my favourite)
To the chia mix add:
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped fresh pineapple
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
Drizzle with coconut cream
Top with a spoonful of coconut yoghurt

4. RASPBERRY CRUMBLE (my 2nd favourite)
To the chia seed mix add:
1/4 cup fresh raspberries
1/3 cup toasted granola with added raw cacao powder (find recipe at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsqMU4rccJI)
1-2 tbsp sultanas
1 tbsp sunflower seeds

5. SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE
Place chia seed mix in blender and add:
1 banana
1/4 cup fresh or frozen berries
1 tbsp breakfast mix raw powder (or maca powder/kale powder)
1 tsp spirulina powder

Once blended add on top:
3 tbsp shredded coconut
1/4 cup toasted granola with added raw cacao powder (find recipe here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsqMU4rccJI)
Spoonful of coconut yoghurt
