10 Exercises to Relieve Morning Stiffness | PPS Physiotherapy



Do you wake up feeling stiff in the morning?

Give these exercises a go to see how they can make your morning a bit easier.

1. Knee rocks – try 40 reps per side
2. Heel slides and hip drop outs with foot up – try 2 sets of 10 per leg
3. Gentle hamstring stretch – try 2 sets of 20 reps per leg
4. Knee to chest stretch – try 2 sets of 10 per leg
5. Banded cat and camel – try 3 sets of 10 per leg
6. Fire hydrants – try 2 sets of 10 per leg
7. Bow and arrow – try 2 sets of 10 reps per side
8. Shoulder circles – try 10 forwards and 10 backwards
9. Mckenzie push ups – try 3 sets of 10 reps
10. Sit to stands – try 10 reps
